ROBOCOP CHINO WATCH THE STREETS

Police in Kunming, China, has installed on city streets humanoid robots equipped with video cameras to monitor and catch thieves.

These followers of Robocop, the cost rises to $ 3,170 each, are 2 feet tall and looks intimidating. As they explain to the authorities, the idea is to provide a look extra help in their daily work to human cops who patrol the streets of Kunming.

The robots are equipped with video cameras and high-tech definition is connected via underground cables CCTV to the nearest police station. There a team of trained staff is responsible for monitoring what robots "see".

What's more, these Robocops Chinese have a "panic button" on his chest, so that if an emergency occurs, pedestrians can call the police immediately.
